Greenhouse Window Opener

My greenhouse is over 5 years old. Once we forgot to open the window in the greenhouse, we left for a week, when we returned, all the plants were dry. Then I began to think about the automation of ventilation in the greenhouse. At first, I thought of connecting an electric drive and making control from the phone, but it was necessary to carry out electricity and this solution is quite expensive. Then I found this product. I liked that it is quite simple to install and use. And the price is not great. It has a fairly simple construction and little can break. And it really works.

The first time I walked around and looked whether the window in the greenhouse was open during the day when it was hot and whether it was closed in the evening when the heat subsided. Everything worked fine, and since there is autonomous watering in my greenhouse, I stopped just going there. My greenhouse is not big and we only use it to grow vegetables for ourselves. Everyone in the family has their own task, the wife plants the plants, the child harvests, and after automation, I just have to taste the salads, I have automated all the other duties ) 

There is a device with two and one springs. I ordered with one, maybe I should have ordered with two. Ideal when the window opens from the bottom. My window opens from the top and one spring is not enough to close it. There were several solutions to this problem. The first is to remake the window to open from the bottom. The second is to increase the force of closing the window. After drinking 2 bottles of beer, I came up with a solution. I used 2 bottles to enhance the window closure and this solution works. This required a minimum of effort and time.

The design is quite simple and there are no electronics in it. The only thing that can fail is a cylinder when depressurizing, but it can be ordered separately.

It is also recommended to cool the device down before installation.
