I have a summer house with a sauna and in it, I decided to supply warm air to the shower and the room. For this, I used a duct fan and an insulated flexible duct. I chose this remote control to control the fan. I also connected the hood control in the shower room and street lighting. I looked at different solutions and settled on this because I had already worked with Sonoff products before. The remote is small, simple, and handy. Conveniently mounts on the wall and looks beautiful. All the devices that I connected can be controlled using Wi-Fi, but I have older parents who are happier to use the remote control, and I myself often use it. I used 4 devices, but 8 can be connected and I already have plans for further automation.
Any automation improves something. First of all, it is comfortable and convenient. It is very convenient to remotely turn on the lighting when you go to fetch wood at night or when it gets cool, turn on the heating without getting up from the chair. Such things quickly get used to and it improves our lives.
This remote works with all Sonoff devices that use 433MHz RF. On the wall, the remote control is held by a magnet. Connecting is very simple. For example, on the light switch, you need to hold the button until the beep sounds, then press the button on the remote control and that's it. On other devices, the connection is similar. I checked the work at a distance of about 25 meters, it works. Also, all my devices are not in the line of sight and everything works fine. In the useful information section, I will add the devices used.
Sonoff T2 1 2 3 Gang Smart WiFi Wall Light Switch - Used to connect street light. Works great with both remote control and Wi-Fi.
SONOFF BASIC R3 Smart ON/OFF WiFi Switch - I used to connect fans. Works great with both remote control and Wi-Fi. It catches the signal well compared to the previous version.
